Revenue outside the U.S. decreased 3% to $2.7 billion, primarily due to unfavorable exchange rates. In the quarter, the company recognized acquired in-process R&D charges of $105.2 million associated with revisions to its agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim, and its collaboration with Adocia. On January 1, 2015, the company completed the acquisition of Novartis Animal Health for approximately $5.4 billion in cash.
